Homemade Bliss Balls

Bliss balls, also known as energy balls, are the ideal way to satisfy your sweet tooth whilst providing your body with amazing nutrients. As a sweetener I use Medjool dates, which contain fibre to slow down the increase of your blood sugar levels making sure you get a steady flow of energy. They also provide your body with potassium which not only supports your heart but also helps your bones to stay healthy. All the balls are fully vegan and gluten-free.

I believe that bliss balls do not need to contain lots of ingredients to be tasty.

Homemade Granola

Finding a tasty granola is not so difficult these days but finding a tasty AND nutritious one can be quite a task. The ones you usually buy in stores are loaded with added sugar, agave nectar or honey which all have a huge impact on your blood sugar levels as well as a high amount of fructose. Fructose, compared to glucose, is metabolized in your liver and if there is an overflow it is converted into fat, causing not only weight gain but also high cholesterol levels.

Therefore I am using organic brown rice syrup which has no fructose and a very low impact on your blood sugar level. YAY! I'm working with nutritious ingredients and use virgin cold-pressed coconut oil to make the granola super crunchy. Adding some seeds and nuts will help slowing down the digestion and keep you full for a long period of time.

Chocolate Crunch Granola

This super crunchy chocolate granola is gluten free and will add a special twist to your breakfast bowl. Just sprinkle it on top of your smoothie bowl or eat it along with some coconut yogurt.

Original Granola

Store bought granola or muesli usually comes with dried fruits such as raisins, figs or cranberries. If you are looking for a plain granola which still has that crunch, my original version will be your choice.
